Running your CTS V hard on the street, track, or strip? The CTS V2 is known to have differential overheat issues when pushed to hard which will either cause you to end your track sessions early, or the inability to drive your V to it's potential. After months of rigorous testing including many track days nationwide and 20-25 minute sessions in 100 degree plus track temps these components performed flawlessly. 


Combining a Setrab 10 row oil cooler with one of two pump options (Turbowerx Exa Mini or Setrab mini pump) provides a lightweight highly efficient solution with multiple mounting options. We provide most of the components; YOU decide what installation locations for the pump and heat exchanger makes the most sense for your model, be that sedan, coupe, or wagon. Given these variables we DO NOT provide step by step installation instructions. If this is what you need to do the install yourself and are not comfortable with this disclaimer please consider hiring outside sources to install or chose another option.

One universal option for the HX is on the passenger side frame rail. Some customers have mounted the HX on the bottom of the spare well; others behind the rear bumper fascia. Depending on your pump choice some V2 models have space directly above the differential. We also provide bulk head fittings for spare well pump installations. Power and electrical connection from the rear fuse panel is the most practical option, and a wiring diagram and relay is included for the pump, thermal and toggle switches. YOU provide the 16AWG wire, 10AMP fuse for the pump and three pole toggle switch. If desired 2amp fuseable link and LED can be added as documented in the wiring diagram. Two AN-08 line options and fittings are available; standard rubber or stainless. 

The thermal switch provided engages when the differential oil reaches 200 degrees and disengages at approximately 190. Most customers choose to locate the inline filter right out of the differential for easy cleaning when changing fluid, but you can move it closer to the pump inlet should you desire. Another significant benefit is the additional fluid capacity this configuration provides.
