WEAPON-X: Lowering Springs [ATS-V gen 1, LF4]

WEAPON-X developed the first set of lowering springs for the ATS V coupe or sedan!  The reviews are all top notch with 100% satisfaction to date with better daily driving and stiffer cornering when needed.  Don't worry, they're not too low, not too soft, not to stiff... they're just right!  They are a progressive spring, designed and manufactured by one of the world's leading spring manufacturers and like all of our products, these are proudly MADE IN THE USA!  When we searched for a vendor, we didn't just want to work with any low rider spring manufacturer that knew nothing about performance.  We did our homework and went to one that was born and raised in the Motorsports industry.

The skinny on the OEM springs: 
As you can see, they're a linear spring, which means you get the same damping rate from the top of the spring to the bottom of the spring.  The front has only 176 lb/in spring rate and the motion ratio is 1:1.  The rear springs have a 560 lb/in spring rate and the motion ratio is .775:1.

Front Specs:
Weight.. 6.3 lbs
Lowered 1.1" from factory height
Progressive Springs will have an initial rate similar to stock and transitions to a final rate nearly twice as stiff as OEM!

Rear Specs:
Weight.. 7.8 lbs
Lowered 0.9" from factory height
Progressive Springs will have an initial rate slightly less than stock for a soft daily ride and transitions to a final rate approximately 30% over OEM. 

What this means to you is you will have a very nice daily driver, even more so than the OEM springs, and when you want to go hard in the corners, the WEAPON-X springs have your back!
