WEAPON-X: Cooling Package [CTS V gen 2, LSA]

Keep your CTS-V cool on the street or track with these 2 Weapon-X cooling packages! With the stage 1 kit, you get the Track Attack Heat Exchanger, Pump, & 160 Degree Thermostat. Add the WEAPON-X Tank Heat Exchanger Expansion tank / Ice Tank with the Stage 2 package.

STAGE 1 KIT:

• Track Attack Heat Exchanger
  There isn't another heat exchanger on the market with more surface area for cooling. This unit not only allows more fresh air to pass uninhibited across the fins but it is also the only one this size with a twin 1" tube core! For most intended purposes, GM Performance had it right with the shape of the stock style of heat exchanger with a square core with more front surface area and a thinner core to allow air to flow through more easily at lower speeds and also take advantage of the dual fans behind the radiator. A heat exchanger is a necessity for any supercharged engine, especially when asking for increased performance. Superior cooling efficiency to the stock unit. Dimensions are 21 X 16 ½ X 2 ½ with a 2 ¼" core compared to the stock 0.5" thickness.

STAGE 2 KIT:

• Heat Exchanger Tank / Ice Box
  When running higher boost pulley combinations, the compressed air produces heat which robs horsepower. The denser the intake air, the more efficient the super charger will be. Whether you run on the street or the strip, have a stock heat exchanger or an aftermarket heat exchanger, this tank allows for 1.5 gallons of additional coolant or distilled water to the system and the ability to fill with ice at the track too! The new tank features a revised lid design for high demand systems for street and track driving. Mounts between the strut bar and firewall. The manufacturer is in the process of moving to a bigger facility which has caused delays in manufacturing. They are working their best to resume production to get open orders out as quickly as possible.
